Completion of this headquartered facility provides a remarkably efficient dispatch center, allowing for the entire force of Merced County to handle dispatches in a clearer and faster way. The newly implemented technology provides all information to be directly recorded and dispatched by computer. The facility also included the construction of a completely self-sufficient automotive maintenance service center with a special ventilation system that permits car engines to be run inside a closed room.
