Mt. SAC South Science Building Location: Walnut, California Sq. Ft.: 67,255 Completion: September, 2006 This new Science Laboratory Building is one of the most technologically advanced science education facilities in the California Community College system. The 67,000-square-foot, three-story building contains more than 100 classrooms, laboratories and exhibit/demonstration areas. Twenty-three labs for biology, chemistry, earth sciences, anatomy, astronomy, histology, and physics instruction will enable faculty and students to enrich their science education through hands-on experiences and discoveries.
